Job Description

The HSE Business Analyst is a subject matter expert in all elements of HSE data collection, analysis and presentation. This role: . Provides support and technical expertise on HSE reporting and recording protocols . Performs data and trend analysis . Designs and produces accurate and intuitive HSE performance reports Key Accountabilities:TECHNICAL SUPPORT

  1. Monitor data from HSE Applications and associated sources to provide business intelligence and insights into HSE performance.
  2. Use and interpret HSE data to identify trends and opportunities and provide regular reports to management.
  3. Monitor, measure and report on HSE performance targets in accordance with HSE strategies and current corporate HSE initiatives.
  4. Support the development and maintenance of a variety of reports, documents, correspondence and records related to DP World HSE performance and areas of risk.
  5. Provide efficient, reliable, quality data for the purposes of scheduled and ad hoc reporting requirements - weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis for internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Review outputs of analyses to draw conclusions and identify anomalies.
  7. Develop, test and document analytical models for identifying trends and monitoring performance to
  8. facilitate and provide evidence for continual improvement.
  9. Utilise continuous improvement tools and techniques to contribute to improving processes and increase the efficiency and effectiveness of HSE governance and reporting frameworks
  10. BUSINESS SUPPORT
  11. Provide support and coaching to key internal stakeholders to improve integrity of data input to support HSE reporting.
  12. Provide input / advice for the development of robust and consistent metrics, inclusive of lead and lag indicators, which provide effective and consistent tracking of HSE performance against objectives
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
  • Graduate Degree in HSE or related degree highly desirable.
  • 1-3 years experience in a similar role would be an asset.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, DAX, TSQL, RDL templates and SQL Server report service
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Skilled in the use of analytical techniques and is able to use judgement to decide upon the most appropriate analytical techniques according to the situation.
  • Knowledge in statistical theories and methods.
  • Proficient computer and IT literacy - pivot tables, macros, lookups, etc.
  • Exceptional writing, presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a self-directed environment and deliver to deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and priority management skills, with the ability to adapt and respond to changing demands.
