Atkins seeks a HRMS Analyst to join our Human Resources Management System team in Miami, FL or Houston, TX.The HRMS Analyst is primarily responsible for reviewing, processing, auditing, and reporting of data within Human Resources Management Systems (HRMS). This position will validate data integrity, troubleshoot errors, and run routine reports. Acting as a lead, by identifying process efficiencies and provide training to end users.About usAtkins is one of the world?s most respected design, engineering and project management consultancies.   • Conducts ongoing audit and quality assurance to ensure data integrity between HRMS and downstream systems.
  • Supports HRMS upgrades and improvements by participating in focus groups and assisting with testing.
  • Assist in the design new HRIS processes.
  • Train system users on functionalities and new features.
  • Serve as a liaison with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, IT teams, and other groups on matters pertaining to HR systems
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting support to various teams.
  • Troubleshoot and report technical issues.
  • Provides superior customer service and support to end users and business process owners for HRMS.
  • Performs data processing duties to include the review, validation, entry, and processing of promotions, demotions, transfers, organizational changes, costing changes, salary adjustments, and all related HRMS changes.
  • May perform such other duties as the Supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.
COMPLEXITYWork involves ensuring the integrity of a company-wide human resource database with direct impact on payroll and benefits, and which feeds information to financial/project management and marketing systems.DECISION-MAKINGWork is performed with a high level of independent judgement and initiative. Consequence of error may be high in terms of management reports and employee goodwill.WORK DIRECTION GIVEN TO OTHERSProvides HRMS-related direction and support to all HR staff.INTERNAL CONTACTSFrequent interaction with Payroll Administrator and Payroll staff. Also interacts with all HR staff, as well as with managers and supervisors throughout the firm regarding the processing of personnel actions. Works with Finance and IT personnel regarding organization changes. Works with Compensation and Benefits staff to coordinate related actions.EXTERNAL CONTACTSInteracts with background check vendor and HRMS providers customer service staff.What will you contribute?
  • A bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, HR management, business administration, or similar field plus 5 years of human resources experience.
  • Exceptional ability to gather and interpret data, as well as improve HRIS processes.
  • Ability to collaborate, provide technical support, and train staff. Extensive experience in analyzing HRIS and HR performance metrics.
  • Experience in documenting processes, as well as performing diagnostic tests and audits.
  • Ability to keep up with technical innovation and trends in HRIS Analysis.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Workday cloud application system experience preferred.
