Role Summary:Alpha Advocate is looking for an HR Specialist to support our Human Resources department. You will act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external partners. Reporting into the Senior Legal Counsel.This role will play an essential part in working with key partners to ensure that the people agenda is at the forefront of what we do and we met our goals.As an HR Specialist, you will be responsible for processing employee data as well as update the policies of the firm. You will also have to provide assistance in the process of recruiting. You should be proficient in providing assistance in the hiring process. You should also assist in day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department.Responsibilities:Your responsibilities include preparing compensation and benefits packages, setting up company policies and maintaining updated employee records. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of full cycle recruiting and solid knowledge of labor legislation. Ultimately, you will foster a healthy workplace by ensuring our HR procedures run smoothly at all times.In particular, the role will be establishing strong working relationships between an employees, lawyers and the higher management. The Responsibilities include: Identifying the Firm and people priorities, adopting a responsive approach and delivering best practice HR solutions; Maintaining physical and digital personnel records like employment contracts and update internal databases with new hire information; Support Managers in managing Employee Relations issues, ensuring they are dealt with both professionally, legally & in a timely manner; Publish and remove job ads on different platforms (e.g. job boards, social networks, careers pages, etc), Prepare and review compensation and benefits packages; Implement training and development plans; Plan quarterly and annual performance review sessions; Inform employees about additional benefits they?re eligible for (e.g extra vacation days); Update employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status; Maintain organizational charts and detailed job descriptions along with salary records; Forecast hiring needs and ensure recruitment process runs smoothly; Develop and implement HR policies throughout the organization; Process employees? queries and respond in a timely manner; Stay up-to-date and comply with changes in labor legislation; Schedule prospective candidate?s job interviews and be a point of contact as required; Updating databases internally, such as sick and maternity leave Preparing and amending where necessary HR documents, i.e., employment contracts and recruitment guides and reviewing and renewing company policies and legal compliance; Being the first point of contact for employees on any HR related queries; Provide accurate, timely, practical information on all HR & employee relations matters ensuring best practice processes are delivered which are in alignment to UAE employment legislation; Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention; Ensure HR policies and procedures are up to date with relevant legislation and communicated as appropriate; Provide support and guidance on structure changes, role changes, job details & salary grading & benchmarking; Monitor the effectiveness of HR programs & initiatives to ensure the business can attract, develop & retain high performing colleagues, ensuring best fit HR process are embedded & reviewed.
