The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction standards are met. They supervise housekeeping staff, manage schedules, and coordinate with other departments to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for guests and staff.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate activities of housekeeping staff, including cleaners, maids, and room attendants.Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.Develop and manage staff work schedules, ensuring adequate coverage at all times.Conduct regular inspections of rooms and facilities to ensure cleanliness and safety standards.Train and mentor housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service.Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment, and place orders as needed.Handle guest requests and complaints professionally, ensuring prompt resolution.Collaborate with front desk and maintenance teams to coordinate repairs and special requests.Maintain records of staff attendance, performance, and disciplinary actions.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.Qualifications:Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role in the hospitality industry.Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation standards.Strong leadership and organizational skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.Good problem-solving skills.Relevant certifications in hospitality or housekeeping management preferred.
