The Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness, maintenance, and overall appearance of the hotel or facility. They ensure that high standards of hygiene and guest satisfaction are maintained by supervising housekeeping staff, managing schedules, and coordinating with other departments.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are consistently met.Develop and implement cleaning schedules and standards.Conduct regular inspections of rooms, public areas, and facilities.Train and motivate housekeeping staff to deliver excellent service.Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.Handle guest complaints related to cleanliness and resolve issues promptly.Prepare staff schedules and monitor attendance.Collaborate with maintenance and front desk teams for smooth operations.Maintain records of room occupancy, cleaning schedules, and inventory.Qualifications & Skills:Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager in the hospitality industry.Excellent leadership and organizational skills.Strong attention to detail.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and safety procedures.Ability to handle guest complaints diplomatically.Educational Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
