Job Description

Housekeeping SupervisorJob Location : United Arab EmiratesKey Responsibilities:?Supervise and lead the housekeeping team, including room attendants, laundry staff, and public area cleaners.?Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.?Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure adherence to hotel standards.?Train and mentor housekeeping staff, providing guidance on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service.?Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper maintenance.?Coordinate with the front desk and maintenance departments to address guest requests and reported issues promptly.?Prepare and maintain housekeeping reports, schedules, and records.?Implement and enforce health and safety standards in compliance with hotel policies and local regulations.?Handle guest complaints and requests in a professional and courteous manner.?Assist in budget management and cost control initiatives within the housekeeping department.Qualifications:?High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality or related field is a plus.?Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role in a hotel setting.?Strong leadership and team management skills.?Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.?Ability to work independently and as part of a team.?Proficiency in using housekeeping software OPERA?Good communication and interpersonal skills.
