The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness, sanitation, and maintenance of the facility to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests and staff. They coordinate housekeeping activities, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement housekeeping policies, procedures, and standards to maintain high cleanliness and hygiene levels.Supervise, train, and motivate the housekeeping staff to ensure efficiency and quality service delivery.Schedule daily housekeeping tasks and assign duties to housekeeping staff.Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure cleanliness and safety standards.Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment, and ensure cost-effective use.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.Coordinate with other departments such as front desk, maintenance, and management for smooth operations.Maintain records of cleaning activities, staff attendance, and inventory.Monitor and control departmental budgets and expenses.Qualifications:Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager in the hospitality industry.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety protocols.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.Relevant certifications in hospitality management or related fields are a plus.
