Job Description

Key responsibilities:Provide assistance to the guests during their stay and ensure the cleanliness of the guest rooms and public areas as per the hotel standardsLiaise with the Supervisor and Coordinator to ensure guests requests are attended to in a timely mannerTake initiative to add a personalised experience for the guestTake ownership of guests privacy and belongings, while ensuring exceptional servicePersonally supervise the end of day closing of the service area and makes sure that all equipment are in appropriate place and nothing is left around which can be hazardousProper stock of guest amenities, cleaning supplies, mini bar, clean linen are arranged well on the trolley before starting the workConduct thorough inspections of assigned rooms to ensure they meet the hotels high standards of cleanliness and presentationReport any maintenance issues or damaged items to the appropriate department promptlyAdhere to all health and safety regulations, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipmentAssist with turndown service in the evenings, ensuring guests have a comfortable and welcoming environmentMaintain accurate records of cleaned rooms, restocked items, and any special requests fulfilledCollaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences, particularly during high-occupancy periods or special eventsQualificationsYour experience and skills include:Service focused personality is essentialPrevious experience in a similar role in 5* hotel is an assetStrong interpersonal skills with a passion for serviceGood communication skills with ability to speak fluent EnglishKeen eye for detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanlinessBasic computer skills for logging completed tasks and communicating with other departmentsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicalsDiscretion and respect for guest privacyAbility to work both independently and as part of a team
