Job Description

Room Attendant Duties:o Clean, replenish, maintain and prepare guests rooms as per each Hotels standardo Use and maintain all chemicals, supplies and equipment carefully and as per each Hotels standardVacuum and mop floors, clean/disinfect guest bathrooms to a high standard and make guests beds daily/change bedding as requiredo Replace towels, soaps and other guest room amenitieso Shampoo carpets and upholstered furnitureo Empty hotel room garbage bins dailyo Move and position cleaning trolley in the guest corridor as per each Hotels standard ensuring a safe and hazard free areao Carry out and complete daily task control sheet as per each Hotels standard/undertake the sequence of service to clean a Hotel roomo Ensure the complete number of Credits to clean rooms per day is completed as per each Hotels standardoReport all malfunctioning tools, incidents and guest room issues to the Supervisor on dutyo Report all lost and found objects as per each Hotels standardo Report any unusual guest behaviors or activities as per each Hotels standardPublic Area Cleaning Duties:oSweep and mop public area floors, clean/disinfect public area bathrooms to a high standardo Empty garbage bins from the public areas daily & restock all cleaning supplies as requiredo Cleaning of all public areas such as windows, corridors, lobby areas, public bathrooms, stairwells, pool areas, and all indoor and outdoor areaso Carry our any other duties as instructed by the shift Supervisor/seniorLaundry Attendant Duties:o Sort through linen and treat stainso Load all laundry into washer and add specified cleaning agentso Handle and store chemicals in line with hotel regulations and any local legislative requirementso Load and unload the washing machines, dryers and dry-cleaning machine with the given capacity of the machines. Record the loads produced on daily basis.oTo ensure that proper chemicals and formulas are applied during the cleaning process.o Responsible to do washing, drying, pressing, folding, stacking, dry cleaning, finishing, pick-up and delivery, sorting, marking, packing for the guest laundry as well as the hotel linen items.o Keep daily records of pick-up and delivery for all items that come through the Laundry departmentoRecord room numbers in the delivery book where all hanger items are also to be recorded.Skills:Chemical and Housekeeping machinery knowledge and experienceSafe manual handling techniquesSolid understanding of both the company/client policies and proceduresOccupational Health & Safety Card (UAE accreditation)Understanding of the Occupational Health & Safety Legislation and Standards in the UAEHousekeeping sequence of service skillsBedmaking skillsCleaning skillsLaundry SkillsMust have a strong comprehension of EnglishMust have strong English-speaking skillsMust have strong interpersonal skillsMust hold strong customer service skillsMust be a strong team playerMust be able to build rapport with the customerMust be energetic and enthusiasticMust have excellent hygiene and grooming standardsMust have the ability to deal with different customersMust have the ability to work under pressure and solve problemsYou will be redirected to the company website to apply for this position
