The Homeroom Teacher is responsible for teaching core subjects (such as English, Math, Science, and Social Studies) to a specific grade level and for creating a nurturing and structured classroom environment. In addition to academic instruction, the homeroom teacher supports the social and emotional development of students and acts as the primary contact between the school and parents for their class.Key Responsibilities:Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in core subjects (based on curriculum standards)Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environmentFoster the academic, emotional, and social development of studentsMonitor and assess student performance through tests, assignments, and participationPrepare report cards and conduct parent-teacher meetingsMaintain open communication with parents regarding student progress and well-beingQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed) or equivalent teaching qualificationLicense or certification as per local education authority requirementsPrior teaching experience (1–3 years minimum; more for senior roles)Fluency in English (and other relevant languages, if applicable)Experience with international curricula (e.g., IB PYP, Cambridge, or American Curriculum) is a plus
