Health, Safety & Environment CoordinatorLocation: UAEJob Responsibilities:?Internal Audits & Compliance: Carry out audits and inspections to ensure adherence to Quality, SOPs and food safety standards.?Customer Complaints Management: Investigate hygiene and quality complaints, implementing corrective actions as needed.?HACCP & Food Safety: Maintain and oversee the HACCP programme and food safety policies, ensuring certification compliance.?Regulatory Compliance: Develop and update SOPs in line with Dubai Municipality and industry regulations.?Liaison with Authorities: Serve as the main contact for Dubai Municipality and relevant government bodies on food safety.?-Training & Awareness: Deliver internal training on hygiene, food safety, and emergency procedures.?Emergency Preparedness: Coordinate emergency drills and maintain first-aid kits, fire extinguishers, and safety signage.?Monitoring & Reporting: Track hygiene performance and prepare management reports on HACCP and quality issues.?Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with operations and training teams to improve service and safety standards.?Sustainability & Waste Management: Ensure eco-friendly practices and safe handling of hazardous materials on-site.About You:?Certifications: HACCP and NEBOSH certifications are required.?Education: Bachelor?s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field.?Leadership: Strong people management skills with the ability to lead by example.?Proactive Approach: Takes initiative to improve processes and uphold quality, safety, and hygiene standards.?Tech Skills: Confident using digital tools for audits, reporting, and daily tasks.?Communication: Clear and professional communicator, both written and verbal, in English.?Organization: Highly organised, detail-focused, and experienced in cross-functional coordination.
