Job Description

Head of Talent and Culture is responsible for guiding and managing the overall provision of the Talent and Culture services, policies, tactics and programs. Responsible for supervising and providing consultation to management on strategic selection, recruitment and retention plans and ensure a profitable operation of the entire Talent and Culture department and the Club itself.Additionally, to ensure that all Talent and Culture needs of the Club are being met and are aligned with all business objectives.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / DAILY DUTIESDevelop corporate plans and organisation strategy for a variety of Talent and Culture matters, e.g. compensation, benefits, health insurance, colleague’s accommodation etc., in line with organisational objectivesImplement strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent management, selection, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retentionWork extensively on sourcing and attracting the best candidates to work for the Club, using different recruitment companies and platforms if requiredDevelop strategies for performance evaluation, training, development and appraisal to support and guide the human factor in the companyDevelop operations financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends, and variances, developing action plans, measuring and analysing resultsDemonstrate a commitment to equity, excellence and high expectations for all colleagues by creating organisational policies and structures that remove barriers and foster inclusion for allEnsure that the organization develops a high-performing, mission-driven culture by strategically evaluating colleague’s morale and addressing organizational matters while providing HR solutions and increasing organisational effectiveness and health through planned interventions in the processesProvide support, help and assistance to management and colleagues with questions and workplace challenges by providing advice, counsel, and decisionsGuide management and colleague’s actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines, and by communicating and enforcing organisation valuesOversees compensation and benefit programs, including job description and classification, salary structure and salary adjustmentsComply with local legal and government requirements by studying existing and anticipating new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advise the department team and management on needed actionsPoses excellent expertise with employment legislation and regulations for companies in UAE, and update the knowledge by participating in conferences and educational activities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organisationsOversee admin work related to employment procedures in the UAE, and monitor adherence to developed and implemented internal policies and legal standardsSupervise the work of HR team and provide guidance and support when and where neededDeal with grievances, violations and litigation risks, and advise department heads on the disciplinary procedure and appropriate resolution of colleagues relations issuesManage programs and lead colleagues while possessing a strong strategic mindset, diligent and firm attitude, and excellent problem-solving skillsHave outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, and excellent organisational and leadership skillsReport on departmental and organizational matters to executive management by analysing data and using HR metricsCarry out any other reasonable duty in order to assist in the smooth running of the HR Department and Club operationYou will be redirected to the company website to apply for this position
