The OpportunityThis is an opportunity to join the energetic launch team of a newly formed crypto venture as Head of Stable Coin. The company has received strong backing by several top-rated VCs to set up a world class service platform.The product offering will include a crypto exchange, staking and advanced yield offerings, a lending offering and operating the platforms own coin. The Head of Stable Coin will be part of the core management team and report directly to the CEO.The roleThe Head of Stable Coin will take the lead in defining and managing the strategy and operation of our stable coin. It will closely cooperate with other BU leads as well as marketing, engineering, compliance, and finance.The scope:.Define market strategy of the core offering based on a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and economics of stable coins.Define international regulatory strategy jointly with the Compliance team.Define and oversee various aspects of business and token operations (burning, minting, treasury, lending).Define go-to-market approach including listings, rewards, yield offerings, and marketing.Oversee definition and implementation of required governance and security requirements in line with financial services industry practices.Define partnership strategy with other centralized or decentralized platforms.Define fee structure and commercial model.Define and oversee liquidity requirements and liaise with internal and external liquidity providers.Define core and value-added service features for different customer groups (retail and institutional).Participate in defining UX requirements to ensure competitiveness.Responsible for the P&L.Liaise with other product teams, compliance, finance, and engineering.Build and maintain highly performing teamQualifications:.Have at least 10 years experience in financial services ideally in asset management and/or lending.Minimum of 1 years in lead role of running a stable coin, ideally in regulated jurisdictions.Strong experience of managing yield operations with retail and institutional clients.Deep knowledge of competitive landscape (CeFi and DeFi).Understanding of listing process, criteria, economics.Deep knowledge of product features fee structures, capital requirements, economic model.Excellent attention to detail.Strong stakeholder management skills.Discrete and has sense for integrity and handles highly sensitive information withLocation.The role is physically based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.Hybrid model with partial work from home feasible
