We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Head of Science to lead our dynamic Science Department in a progressive CBSE school environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in curriculum design, instructional leadership, and a deep commitment to fostering a passion for science among students. As the head of the department, you will be responsible for driving academic excellence, leading a team of passionate educators, and ensuring that science education aligns with the highest standards of the CBSE curriculum.Key Responsibilities:Lead, manage, and inspire a dedicated team of science educators to deliver outstanding results in all scientific disciplines.Develop, implement, and review the Science curriculum for all grade levels (Grades 6-12) in alignment with CBSE guidelines and best practices.Ensure the effective delivery of science subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Environmental Science.Oversee and coordinate the preparation of instructional materials, lesson plans, and assessments.Promote the use of innovative teaching methodologies and educational technologies to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.Organize and lead extracurricular activities such as science fairs, competitions, and field trips to enhance student learning experiences.Conduct regular classroom observations, provide feedback, and guide professional development opportunities for the science faculty.Collaborate with the senior leadership team to align science education with broader school goals, including interdisciplinary projects and integrated learning.Monitor student performance and implement interventions where necessary to ensure academic success.Ensure full compliance with UAE Ministry of Education regulations and documentation requirements.Eligibility Criteria:Educational Qualifications:Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or related subjects)B.Ed. is mandatoryExperience:Minimum 3–5 years of leadership experience in a CBSE school in the UAEDemonstrated success in academic leadership, curriculum design, and team management in science educationSkills & Competencies:Strong knowledge of CBSE science curriculum and assessment practicesProven leadership and team-building skills, with a focus on continuous professional developmentExcellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with modern science education tools, STEM initiatives, and edtech platformsExperience with the UAE Ministry of Education attestation process is essential
