ABOUT THE ROLE:Based at the Corporate Office in Dubai, the Head of HSSEQ will lead the development and implementation of all health, safety, security, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.This role is critical in ensuring compliance with international standards and regulations, promoting a safe work environment, and driving continuous improvement in HSSEQ performance across all company operations.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESStrategic HSSEQ Leadership and Policy DevelopmentLead the strategic development and implementation of HSSEQ policies and corporate standards that align with the overall business goals of P&O Maritime Logistics and DP World.Influence organizational culture by embedding HSSEQ considerations into corporate decision-making processes and ensuring these policies support sustainable business practices.Provides strategic oversight and guidance to the company?s QHSE Teams, ensuring they achieve or surpass targets and standards for safety, quality, and legislative compliance. Facilitates coordination and alignment of objectives across teams through indirect leadership and collaborative support.Champions the development of a proactive safety culture across the company by promoting practices that prioritize understanding over blame, learning from near misses, and empowering all employees to contribute to safety initiatives.Ensures that these practices are embedded in daily operations to enhance overall safety awareness and performance.QUALIFICATIION & EXPERIENCE :Appropriate experience in the maritime offshore and/or port services industryDegree level or above in HSSEQ/ Bachelor?s degree10+ years? experience in the Offshore support industry.10+ years? experience in a Management role, including at least 5 years in direct.
