About Our ClientOur client is a leading renewable energy private equity firm. They are dedicated to the acquisition, development and overall investment management of renewable energy assets in emerging markets. What the job involves

  • Act as the companys compliance and money laundering reporting officer. Review and sign-off on all compliance-related policies and manuals. Build and develop a high performing legal and compliance team
  • Assess the impact of changes in corporate laws and regulations to the organization
  • Provide guidance and conduct training internally on compliance issues and policies
  • Manage all Lux CSSF regulatory and compliance requirements, as well as local requirements in the UAE and other fund company jurisdictions
  • Conduct due diligence checks on partners, suppliers and stakeholders during KYC process
  • Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders including clients, external counsel and regulatory authorities
  • Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure robust compliance
  • Attend Investment Committee meetings as the compliance head
Who we are looking for
  • Bachelors degree. Ideally, common law qualified
  • Experience of compliance roles from within infrastructure or private equity industries
  • Strong knowledge of regulations and compliance requirements
  • Familiarity with Lux CSSF requirements
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Collegiate
