The Head Housekeeper is responsible for managing and coordinating all activities related to housekeeping services. This role ensures that the cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance standards of the facility are maintained to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment for guests and staff.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department.Develop and implement cleaning standards and procedures.Supervise, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to ensure high-quality service.Schedule staff shifts and manage manpower to meet operational needs.Conduct regular inspections of rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linen, and other housekeeping materials.Coordinate with maintenance and other departments for repairs and upkeep.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.Handle guest complaints related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.Prepare reports on departmental performance, supplies, and staffing.Qualifications & Skills:Proven experience as a Head Housekeeper or similar supervisory role in hospitality.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Attention to detail and quality standards.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
