Group Head ? Community Engagement and Sustainability - Aldar Education - (22000084)DescriptionAldar Education is currently seeking a Group Head ? Community Engagement and Sustainability to support our growing family of owned and operated schools in the UAE. Due to planned current and future expansion we are looking to add to our Team supporting our British, US and IB curricula network of schools.The successful candidates will be closely aligned with our core values and ethos and possess a genuine understanding and appreciation of the values of the region.Job Purpose

  • To embody the values, vision and ethos of Aldar Education and to assist the education team in delivering policy which will ensure high quality and successful community partnerships and community programmes supporting the work of Aldar Education, our schools and other community focussed initiatives.
  • To support the education and operations teams in achieving the key sustainability objects for individual schools within the network through developing and implement a central sustainability strategy alongside colleagues in operations and schools.
  • To support the Education and ATA team in design, creation and delivery of training courses aligned to the community engagement and sustainability goals.
  • To identify individual school and group wide support requirements and provide assistance to colleagues.
  • To lead on the development of strong and meaningful community relationships ensuring that each school has partnerships relevant to its context and USPs.
  • To work alongside the operations teams in the monitoring, evaluation and continuous review of the quality and effectiveness of school and group wide sustainability initiatives.
  • To support the identification of best practice and practitioners in the areas of community engagement and sustainability from across the network and work alongside the various Learning Networks to provide individual school support where necessary.
  • To support the sustainability goals of the group especially at school level and through education initiatives and curriculum adaption.
  • To model the values and vision of Aldar Education.
  • To be a role model to staff and students.
  • To have high expectations of all staff and students.
  • Identify professional development needs of those you line manage or work with and address with CPD.
  • To undertake and carry out any other such comparable duties commensurate with the grade of the post, as required by your Line Manager.
  • To lead by example to maintain a high standard of professionalism at all times.
