Job Description

With a collective strength of 10 brands, we have more than 200 million monthly users that trust in our dedication to providing them with the best platform for their needs.As a Group Accountant (Accounts Payable), you will be responsible for managing the group accounts payable and payment processes for the EMPG Holdings Limited (the company). You will help and coordinate the month-end process and all general accounting activity for the respective entity. You will also perform account reconciliations, financial analysis, and help in the preparation of the statutory reporting. You will use your initiative to improve processes and take responsibility for the ownership of assigned accounting activity.What youll be doing

  • Manage the EMPG Holdings Limited and other holding companies accounts payable and payment process, including PO requisition, appropriate approvals and wire transfers
  • Preparation of journal entries accruals and prepayments, monthly bank reconciliation and month-end close as per the Group process and procedure
  • Perform general ledger reconciliation; Balance sheet and P&L analysis, preparation of Trial Balance
  • Assist in the data analysis, Group consolidation, audit and other reporting processes.
  • Work closely with other members of the wider finance team and business stakeholders to improve the process and control environment
  • Work together with Head of Group Reporting team to achieve overall team and companys objectives
