Location: Abu DhabiExperience: 5+ yearsEducation: Bachelors in Accounting (required)Role:Own general ledger accuracy and month-end close. Ensure timely postings, reconciliations, and compliant reporting.Key Responsibilities:-Prepare and post journals: accruals, prepayments, depreciation, provisions.-Reconcile bank, AP, AR, intercompany, GRNI, and inventory subledgers.-Close month-end on schedule; produce trial balance and variance analysis.-Maintain chart of accounts and cost centers; enforce posting controls.-Review VAT output/input and file returns with supporting schedules.-Support audits with reconciliations, lead schedules, and audit evidence.-Coordinate with Procurement, Stores, and Payroll to resolve exceptions.-Assist in budgeting and cash-flow forecasts as needed.Requirements:-5+ years GL accounting experience; retail/FMCG preferred.-Bachelor’s in Accounting; professional progress a plus (ACCA, CMA, CPA).-ERP proficiency; Microsoft Business Central preferred.-Strong Excel; Power Query/Power BI a plus.-Solid grasp of IFRS, UAE VAT, and inventory accounting.-Detail focus, deadline discipline, clear reporting.KPIs:-Month-end close T+5 or better.-Zero-unexpected GL variances.-On-time VAT filings and clean audit points.Benefits:-Competitive salary and benefits per company policy.-Growth within finance and operations.
