GL AccountantJob Location : UAEKey Responsibilities:•Manage the General Ledger (GL), ensuring accuracy in accounting entries.•Oversee and reconcile Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) accounts.•Perform month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial data is accurate and compliant.•Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.•Work closely with other departments to ensure proper recording of transactions and adherence to company policies.•Ensure that all accounting transactions comply with relevant tax laws and regulations.•Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.•Collaborate with auditors during annual audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.•Familiarity and hands-on experience with ERP systems to streamline accounting processes and reporting.Key Requirements:•5+ years of experience in General Ledger (GL) accounting.•Strong experience in AR & AP functions.•Proficiency with ERP systems is a must.•Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
