By upholding our values of respect, excellence, collaboration and integrity Al-Futtaim Group continues to enrich the lives and aspirations of our customers each and every dayOverview of the role:To ensure that the assigned mechanical repairs are executed in line with Principles established work procedures and specifications, time standards and housekeeping standards so that the overall objectives of productivity and quality are met or exceeded.What you will do:

• Execute assigned jobs according to principles established work procedures, specifications and time standards.
• Repair damaged vehicle based on repair standards as per vehicle Repair Manual
• Provide quality workmanship for customer satisfaction. Minimise repeat jobs which lead to loss of time and material.
• Request to Team leader to arrange for supplementary parts and labor approval , if needed
• Conduct quality checks as and when necessary.
• Ensure use of safety equipment/gear and follow all safety and environmental conservation procedures
• Ensure cleanliness of the workplace, tools, equipment and of the customers car being serviced.
• Inform Team Leader for any abnormality occurred during the operation and initiate for incident report.
• Responsible for carrying out work with care ensuring not to endanger the life either of themselves or others by theirs acts or omissions whilst complying to health and safety requirements of the company and preventing any harm to the environment.
• Maintain the discipline of the service establishment through strict adherence of company rules, regulations and procedures
• Ensure to park the Job Stoppage vehicle in designated area

Required skills to be successful:

• Experience in mechanical repair works from a reputed automotive workshop
• Ability to carry out job as per required standards.
• Ability to identify problem areas and identify its cure
• Must be able to follow global automotive workshop instructions and procedures

About The Team: The role will report to the Workshop Supervisor and you will be working in a busy workshop environment.What Equips You For The Role: . SSC/Trade certificate/Vocational Training . Minimum 2 years of experience as Mechanical Technician in a reputed automotive workshop .
