General Manager ? Aldar Training Academy - (2200007S)DescriptionAldar Education is currently seeking a General Manager ? Aldar Trainign Academy to support our growing family of owned and operated schools in the UAE. Due to planned current and future expansion we are looking to add to our Team supporting our British, US and IB curricula network of schools.The successful candidates will be closely aligned with our core values and ethos and possess a genuine understanding and appreciation of the values of the regionJob Purpose

  • To embody the values, vision and ethos of Aldar Education and ATA and to work and align with the Academic Director in creating policies which will ensure high quality and successful outcomes for all ATA services.
  • To take responsibility for the creation and development of the ATA business and strategic objectives and outcomes
  • To develop a business and strategic plan for ATA ? short, medium and long term
  • To proactively pursue new business and sales opportunities for ATA
  • To build and maintain existing and new client relations
  • Directing and coordinating all sales activities locally and internationally
  • Creating and preparing budgets, projections and approving budgets in alignment with the Academic Director
  • Analysis and oversight of accounting and financial data
  • Ensure the delivery of new products, services and business capability from the ATA workstream and provide new projects on time and within budget, in accordance with ATA business and strategic aims.
  • To manage business risk and plan for contingencies to ensure minimal impact on services, establishing clear and transparent lines of communication processes to escalate or de-escalate, manage and resolve issues.
  • To develop Aldar Training Academy (ATA) business model internally and externally by actively promoting and adding to ATA services portfolio.
  • To support the Academic Director in achieving the key business and training objectives of Aldar Training Academy.
  • To seek and pursue strategic partnerships for ATA to enhance the quality and reputation of courses offered.
  • To expand the customer base for ATA by actively approaching educational institutions, establishing commercial partnerships locally and internationally based on a profit-sharing model.
  • To work alongside the Academic Director to provide educational services to government educational entities.
