We are seeking a meticulous and dependable General Accountant to join our finance team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will manage supplier payments, maintain accurate financial records, oversee petty cash and credit card transactions, and support cash flow planning and reconciliation processes to ensure strong financial controls.Key Responsibilities:• Record supplier invoices promptly and accurately on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.• Handle supplier payments, resolve discrepancies, and maintain effective supplier relationships.• Manage petty cash across divisions, process reimbursements, and support office, procurement, PRO, and engineering needs.• Monitor company vehicle fuel usage, process related payments, and allocate expenses to the correct divisions.• Prepare and maintain schedules for CDC and PDC payments (daily/weekly/monthly) to align with cash flow strategies.• Process supplier and other payments ensuring timeliness and accuracy; maintain a current payment tracker and prioritize disbursements.• Develop payment plans to support cash flow and resource allocation.• Maintain a register of issued post-dated checks and follow up on clearances.• Administer and reconcile corporate credit card transactions.• Perform accounts payable reconciliations and prepare supporting reports to provide clear financial visibility.Qualifications & Skills:• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is a plus.• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.• Solid understanding of accounting principles and statutory requirements.• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, Oracle, SAP, or similar) and strong MS Excel skills.• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.• High attention to detail and accuracy; able to work independently and collaboratively.What We Offer:• Competitive salary and benefits package.• Opportunities for professional growth and career development.• Supportive, collaborative working environment.
