The Food Safety Trainer is responsible for developing, implementing, and delivering comprehensive food safety training programs to ensure all staff members are knowledgeable about and comply with food safety standards and regulations. The trainer will promote a culture of safety, hygiene, and quality within the organization.Key Responsibilities:Develop and update training materials, manuals, and presentations on food safety protocols, hygiene standards, and regulatory compliance.Conduct training sessions for new hires and ongoing training for existing staff on food safety practices.Ensure all staff members understand proper handling, storage, and preparation of food items.Monitor and evaluate staff adherence to food safety standards and provide feedback.Collaborate with management to identify training needs and improve existing programs.Keep abreast of local, national, and international food safety regulations and standards (e.g., HACCP, FDA, WHO).Maintain records of training sessions, attendance, and assessments.Conduct audits and inspections to verify compliance with food safety standards.Promote awareness of food safety culture across all departments.Qualifications & Skills:Bachelors degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Hospitality, or related field.Proven experience as a Food Safety Trainer or similar role in the food service or hospitality industry.Knowledge of food safety standards such as HACCP, ISO 22000, FDA regulations, etc.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to train and motivate staff effectively.Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.Certification in Food Safety (e.g., HACCP certification, ServSafe, or equivalent) is preferred.Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
