The FLS (Fire & Life Safety) Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining, inspecting, repairing, and ensuring the proper functioning of fire safety systems, life safety equipment, and related infrastructure to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.Key Responsibilities:Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, and other life safety devices.Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning fire and safety systems promptly.Ensure all safety equipment complies with local fire safety codes and standards.Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for specialized maintenance tasks.Assist in the development and implementation of safety protocols and emergency response procedures.Conduct safety audits and risk assessments related to fire and life safety.Keep abreast of new safety regulations and incorporate best practices.Participate in emergency drills and safety training sessions.Qualifications & Experience:Educational Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Fire Safety Engineering.Experience: 3-5 years of experience in maintenance of fire and safety systems or facilities management.Certifications: Relevant certifications in fire safety, safety management, or emergency response are preferred.Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills, knowledge of fire safety systems, excellent communication, and attention to detail.
