The Floor Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations on the assigned floor or area, ensuring smooth workflow, high-quality service, and adherence to company standards. The role involves supervising staff, managing cleanliness and presentation, addressing customer or guest needs, and coordinating with management to maintain efficient operations.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate the activities of floor staff (housekeeping, service, or retail team)Monitor cleanliness, presentation, and compliance with operational standardsAllocate daily tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completionPerform routine inspections and spot checks on work areas or merchandiseAssist in resolving customer/guest issues and complaints professionallyTrain and guide new or junior staff in standard proceduresEnsure inventory and supplies are maintained at required levelsCoordinate with other departments (e.g., maintenance, front office, warehouse)Enforce safety, hygiene, and company policy complianceReport operational issues and staff performance to the managerQualifications & Experience:High school diploma or equivalent; diploma or degree in hospitality, retail, or business is a plus1–4 years of relevant experience in hospitality, housekeeping, or retail operationsPrior supervisory experience is preferredStrong understanding of service standards, cleanliness protocols, or retail floor managementProficient in basic reporting and inventory tracking tools
