Job Description

Fire Protection Engineer - Estimation & Design|AFET, Dubai, UAEverview of the role.The design and estimation of fire fighting, fire alarm and central battery system.ÿWhat you will doÿÿ

  • Review the scope of work & tender document in compliance to specification and civil defence requirements.
  • Preparation of bill of quantities, detailed cost estimates
  • Site survey and attending the technical meeting with the client and consultant.ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ
  • Preparation of Value engineering proposal and approval from consultant/client.
  • Providing technical support to sales engineers.
  • Send RFQ for equipment/materials to suppliers and subcontractors. Technical evaluation of the suppliers/subcontractor bid.
  • Prepare technical evaluation sheet.
  • Design and preparation of shop drawings in compliance with UAE fire code and specification.
  • Preparation of fire alarm/emergency light/VE/fire fighting/fire pump technical submittal.
  • Calculation of Lux level, Speech Transmission Index (STI), and hydraulic calculations.
