Fire Life Safety EngineerJob Location : UAE:?Should have a thorough knowledge and proven experience in Fire & Life Safety (FLS) engineering.?Individually able to carry out Architectural review of layouts for UAE FLS Code compliance.?Capability to perform Occupancy load analysis, Fire Separation, Hazard identification, Travel distance calculation, defining construction elements, fire access road etc.?Candidate must be familiar with UAE FLS Code, NFPA 101, NFPA 5000, IBC, Abu Dhabi Building code and FLS-related international standards.?Understand the project requirement and conduct field and onsite visits as per requirements.?Conduct site visits for GAP identification of Fire & Life Safety aspects and prepare Assessment reports.?Preparation and review of FLS strategy report in line with UAE FLS code and other middle-east country codes.?To coordinate and collaborate internally with a team of Fire & Life Safety engineers to discuss, assist and resolve the FLS issues for ensuring compliance with UAE FLS Code.?Support multi-disciplinary teams in designing the facilities to achieve UAE FLS code compliance.?Update management from time to time regarding the progress of the projects.?To prepare the necessary project documentation and prepare technical presentations and proposals as per the clients expectations.?Liaise with all required authorities to obtain approval on the Fire & Life Safety deliverables for approval.Essential Skills :?Software Skill (AUTOCAD, 3D MODEL software)?Good IT skills such as word processing with excellent use of spreadsheets and knowledge of various presentation packages?Should have excellent analytical, written, presentation, and communication skills.?Ability to think out of the box and suggest remedial solutions that best benefit the client to achieve his business goals.?Excellent research skills, goal-oriented and thorough professional?Ability for multi-tasking?Should be able to prioritize work and should have a positive attitude?Project management and business skills?Ability to learn and apply the FLS codes of other countries.?Exposure and practice of CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) for smoke detection is preferred.
