Job Description

Our ClientAt Halian, we have over twenty years of success under our belt within the recruitment industry and are actively changing the future of hiring talent. Halian have doubled in headcount over the past year and looking to hire a Financial Controller in Dubai to support our continuous growth.Your Responsibilities

  • Preparation of timely and accurate monthly financial reporting of all 6 ME companies/branches, ensuring compliance with Group policies.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business model to become a strong business partner to the CFO and in country leads.
  • Oversee the annual audits, both in the region and supporting the UK consolidation
  • Supporting the CFO in preparing accurate Board reporting material to enable qualitative accurate decision making
  • Manage the reporting timetable for actuals, budgets and forecasts
  • Liaison with the group treasury to manage cash and ID funding.
Your Qualifications
  • Ambitious qualified accountant, preferably ACA or ACCA, with experience in the profession.
  • Excellent IT and systems skills
  • 7+ years of overall combined accounting, finance and tax experience
  • Good accounting skillset to perform the more technical areas of the role
  • Proven management, communication and leadership skills
  • Experience working in the Middle East would be essential.
