  • 10 -12 years of similar experience, out of which 4-5 years in the UAE
  • CA (Mandatory)
  • Good Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Should have worked in a large-sized organization
Skillset
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
  • ?Process and deadline-driven mindset with a keen eye for detail.
  • Manage SAP system related changes to ensure compliance of invoice formats and accounting processes.
  • Working with BIG 4 would be an added advantage.
  • Thorough understanding of the UAEprevailing Taxation system.
Responsibilities
  • Overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, Financial and Management Accounting functions of (UAE).
  • Preparation of monthly financial reports covering balance sheet, profit and loss, internal management reports and cashflow statements.
  • Spearhead VAT initiatives and execute scheduled quarterly VAT Filings.
  • Work with various vendors and 3rd party consultants to optimize operations and improve processes
  • Managing and overseeing the company?s financial systems.
  • Providing sound financial support and insights in order to make critical business decisions.
  • Liaison with external Auditors, Bank Managers and Tax specialists
  • Ensure strict compliance prevailing laws and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance of IFRS for revenue booking, cost and expenses.
  • Ensure application of appropriate internal controls, compliance and financial processes
  • Co-coordination and execution of the budgets, plans and forecasts
  • Extensive stakeholder management across the business
  • Be an integral part of the risk management and fraud prevention directive, advising on financial implications where relevant.
