Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Director to work for a leading international shipping and logistics company.As the Finance Director, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Overseeing all day-to-day finance activities within the group.
  • Supporting and managing finance activities across a network of countries in Africa.
  • Managing the centralised financial control department.
  • Financial planning and analysis (budgeting, forecasting, and providing financial analysis).
  • Oversee all financial reporting.
  • Manage and develop the finance team.
  • Work closely with other senior management in the group.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a CFO / Finance Director or senior finance professional
  • Must have a track record of successful financial management
  • Previous experience in overseeing finance activities in multiple countries is advantageous
  • Experience in managing finance activities in Africa is advantageous
  • Knowledge of international accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations
  • Experience in the shipping or logistics industry is a must
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
