Job Description

Key AccountabilitiesDevelop, manage and religiously track budgets, forecasts, and financial plansAnalyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvementCollaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and support strategic planningPrepare presentations for CFO and leadership team and the Board on month-end financials, budgets and financial plansPrepares analysis based on monthly income statement, balance sheets, and other financial statements,Review month-end closing done by accounting to ensure accruals and estimates are done properlyReview of daily non-operational KPIs(commercial, operational etc.) to provide insight and support strategic planning to CFO and leadership teamTracking OPEX and CAPEX budget line by line and ensuring spendings are in line with the budgetManaging the accounting policy, ensuring that it is up-to-date and latest changes in IFRS and Group policies are implemented.Analyzes complex financial transactions and reports, determining accounting reserves, capitalizing of assets, and expense recognition, among other judgments.Coordinating with Group Controlling team for month-end Group Controlling reporting requestsPrepare and submit financial reports requested by Central Bank of the UAEParticipating in annual and interim auditsContributing to and defining financial control processes and proceduresQualifications, experience, skills and competencies:Qualifications:Minimum Bachelor degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field.Experience:7+ years of experience in Controlling functions in financial and fintech institutionsSkills:Strong accounting knowledge, with proven experience with IFRSExpertise in analysis financial statements and non-financial KPIsProficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planningProficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial modelling toolsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with key stakeholders. Clear and concisecommunication with stakeholders at all levels, including non-financial audiences.A structural and logical approach to solving problemsStrong analytical skills and a hands-on attitudeExperience within a fast-growing organizationAbility to align financial strategies with organizational goalsAwareness of market trends and their potential impact on business financesExpertise in implementing and monitoring financial controls and policiesTo be highly motivated, focused on deliveryYou will be redirected to the company website to apply for this position
