This role focuses on ensuring that Healthiness business activity in MESA is conducted in compliance with corporate global trade strategy, standards, and requirements, and in compliance with all applicable import, export, and sanctions regulations. This position requires an energetic, diplomatic, take-charge person with good trade compliance regulatory experience. A successful candidate will be able to work cross-functionally and cross-regionally to ensure alignment across the businesses and across the MESA zone. The candidate should have good knowledge of the UAE import, export, and sanctions regulations, HS/ECCN classification, Customs bonded warehouse requirements and have experience dealing with other government agency requirements, at the point of importation/exportation. Your tasks and responsibilities You will assist with the implementation of trade compliance processes, procedures, and tools to ensure compliance with import/export regulations and corporate policies. You will perform order clearances in close collaboration with other ECC personnel. You will conduct trade compliance risk assessments for business operations; identify trade compliance issues within the business units; assist with trade compliance audits; conduct root cause analysis and oversee the implementation of corrective actions. You will monitor and keep track of changes in government policies, export control, sanctions and customs rules and regulations as they relate to company operations. You will participate in cross functional projects and support regular ECC training to targeted business groups. You will provide support and consulting to organizational units within the area of responsibility and actively cooperates with ECC Headquarter as well as in Best Practice Sharing. You will ensure country specific processes and procedures within global HC ECC framework. Your qualifications and experience Bachelor?s Degree in business, Law, International Affairs or comparable. Minimum 3 to 5 years of trade compliance experience. Experience with SAP/GTS or other similar trade management software strongly preferred. Your attributes and skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proven adaptability to differing cultural and business environments. Strong drive and focus for results. Sound judgment, professional demeanor, good work ethic, and a good sense of humor. Fluent in English ? both verbal and written.
