Title:ExpeditorExpeditor

Responsible for expediting delivery of goods and materials to meet required delivery times as set out in the Purchase Orders.
Coordinates desk and field expediting efforts.
Coordinates required shipping documentation to ensure shipment takes place to set delivery schedules.
Liaise with Suppliers via various communication methods including where necessary, expediting visits.
Monitor packages to identify potential improvements in delivery times and highlight to the team for discussion.
Identify potential slippages to mitigate effects and propose measures to deal with slippages.
Understands the details and implications of PO Terms and Conditions.
Understands the importance of an audit trail and the required documentation to ensure the trail is proper and complete.
Must have extensive experience of applications used in the expediting effort as well an other standard applications such as MS Office etc.
Minimum of 5 years specific expediting experience is required.
