Job Description

Position: Executive Pastry ChefCreating new and exciting desserts to renew our menus and engage the interest of guests.The place to savour life. What you will be doing:
  • To oversee the kitchen ? pastry section operations of the Hotel
  • Preparing a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread etc
  • Decorating pastries using different icings, toppings etc. to ensure the presentation will be beautiful and exciting
  • To provide service that is sincere, warm and enthusiastic, ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Maintain a consistent focus on improving the overall flow of the kitchen - Pastry operations, seeking ways to maximize and improve the operation through productivity management and energy savings programs
  • To lead daily departmental briefings and monthly employee meetings
  • Ensure guests are communicated with and assisted in an efficient, warm and professional manner by all team members.
  • To ensure a consistently high standard of grooming is followed and by self and team
  • Actively review guest comments and feedbacks, communicate this with the team members and implement procedures to enhance guest satisfaction
  • To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned
Your experience and skills include:
  • Previous experience in a similar leadership role is an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities and the ability to lead by example
