EstimatorJob Location : United Arab EmiratesKey Responsibilities :•Review and analyze project drawings, specifications, and tender documents.•Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracted works.•Take off quantities from architectural and drawings using estimation software or manual methods.•Request and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.•Prepare BOQs, cost breakdowns, and final tender submissions.•Liaise with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure accurate pricing.•Attend pre-tender meetings, site visits, and client briefings when required.•Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.•Maintain a database of rates, material prices, and subcontractor costs for future reference.•Track and analyze market trends, price escalations, and competitor pricing.Requirements :•Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.•Strong knowledge of estimation techniques, tender procedures, and pricing.•Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software.•Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.•Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.•Good communication and negotiation skills.
