Job Description

SummaryReduce the likelihood of failures with equipment & facilities that could affect the operation performance and potentially our employees and customers. Supervise employees and contractors/suppliers who perform maintenance and tool making. Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines.Perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line.Essential Responsibilities :

  • Ensure that equipment and tools are in good condition for use.
  • Prepare and manage maintenance plans and budgets.
  • Develop preventive maintenance program and corrective action by machine.
  • Works closely with Plant Leadership and Operations to deploy Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
  • Support production activities at all times by ensuring minimum response times to equipment breakdowns and achievement of equipment availability targets.
  • Promote an environment of continuous improvement and innovation in line with lean thinking and Maintenance best practice.
  • Implement and ensure all safety programs and procedures are followed.
  • Leads others to find creative solutions within complex manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles.
  • Ensure that maintenance cover for production areas is provided at all times by demonstrating flexibility regarding working overtime to provide cover for holidays, sick leave, shutdown periods, busy periods and as required.
Qualifications/Requirements :
  • Bachelor?s Degree in engineering from an accredited college or university
  • Min 2 years of work experience in operation and facility maintenance in oil & gas and/or energy and/or aviation industry
  • Willingness to work in a very challenging and demanding environment.
  • Hands on, problem solving and lean mindset
  • Experience in repairs environment
  • Fluency in English
Desired Qualifications :
  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering is preferred
  • Prior experience in vendor and supplier management
  • Prior experience in heavy equipment maintenance and maintenance planning
  • Experience working with and understanding TPM principles and methods.
