Job Description

Overview / ResponsibilitiesWood are currently bidding for a Principal Reliability Engineer to join us. This position will be based in Abu Dhabi, UAEOverview / Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of risk and reliability management systems
  • Experience in failure mode and effect analysis, with a solid understanding of failure mechanisms
  • Experience in troubleshooting, analyzing and resolving engineering problems independently
  • Effective communication and ability to write technical reports
  • Knowledge of international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications
  • Ability to apply predictive techniques
  • Able to apply the concept of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Risk Based Maintenance (RBM)
  • Experienced in Complete Maintenance Management Solution (CMMS) and reliability improvement applications e.g.
  • SAP/Reliasoft/PROACT/TAPROOT
  • Knowledge of rotating equipment such as turbines, compressors and auxiliaries including associated international codes such as API and ISO
  • Comprehensive understanding of HSE and other regulatory compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Very good knowledge of spoken and written English language.
  • Knowledge of Arabic is preferable.
  • Professional Certifications Mandatory
  • Certified Training in RCM Modules preferred.
  • Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)
  • Certified Reliability Engineer according to ASQ

  • Minimum 15 years of maintenance & reliability management related experience.

  • Advance understanding of relevant codes and standards
