Job Description

Overview / ResponsibilitiesWood are currently bidding for Cathodic Protection Engineer to join us. This position will be based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

  • Ensure value and quality in the process component of our proposals, staffing and execution for engineering projects
  • Provide expert input in metallurgy and process technology to our engineering studies
  • Advise process engineering teams on the correct fit-for-purpose approach in process studies and engineering
  • Achieve a process-centric approach to process engineering
  • Seek innovation in process technology as applied to our clients? engineering studies
  • Participate in projects and achieve at least 70% utilization as a technical lead, senior advisor or peer reviewer
  • Actively support business development through participation in professional conferences, direct business development activities and client relationship building
  • Build a process quality brand in Wood driven by a focus on value, innovation and process-centric engineering.

  • Bachelor Degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the oil/ gas/petrochemical industry.
  • For site-based positions previous construction experience in live plants is a must, and Gulf experience preferable.
  • All personnel must be fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Shell DEP is a must
  • Brownfield is essential
