Job Description

To develop and manage environmental policies and processes as they relate to the operations of the dnata Group which links internal and corporate policies, performance reporting, stakeholder relationships, UAE /global regulatory policy challenges. Job Outline: - Plan - Develops and administers environment programs that align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices and is fit for purpose to meet stakeholder expectations - Sources valuable intelligence and analysis of environmental policy and political/regulatory developments - Participates and advances dnata agenda at relevant industry forums and associations such as IATA, AACO, IACO etc. - Lead - Leads and facilitates departments across the Group to ensure leading edge environmental performance and improvement - including fuel efficiency, emission reductions, and utility efficiency and recycling projects - Manages a team of specialists and other department analysts to support all dnata environment policies and initiatives - Manages the dnata Group global government relations and public affairs as well as the Groups wider political issues and engagement - Execute - Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, dnata standards and stakeholder commitments - Liaises with regulators, third party consultants, and local stakeholders and provides appropriate advice to business unit teams - Initiates, implements and manages public affairs, public policy and government relations activities which support dnata Group key public affairs relationships, regulatory environment and key related policy issues/threats as well as current and future commercial aspirations, alongside management of the public affairs team in the Department
