We are seeking a motivated Procurement Executive to join our team at Awani Pack. The role focuses on sourcing raw materials, onboarding suppliers, and achieving cost efficiencies. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with strong negotiation skills and a desire to grow within the procurement field.Key ResponsibilitiesSupplier Onboarding:Identify and onboard reliable suppliers for raw materials such as Kraft Paper, Bleach Boards, and Stretch Films & all raw materials related to the packaging IndustryEnsure all new suppliers meet quality and delivery standards.Credit Negotiation:Secure credit terms of 60–90 days with suppliers to align with company cash flow needs.Procurement Operations:Process purchase orders and ensure accurate documentation.Maintain procurement records, including agreements and invoices.Inventory Coordination:Collaborate with the sales team to align material availability with forecasted demand.Prevent stock outs and overstocking through efficient inventory management.Market Analysis:Research and evaluate new suppliers to optimize sourcing strategies.Benchmark supplier pricing and terms to ensure competitiveness.SkillsEssential SkillsStrong negotiation and communication abilities.Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.Ability to work independently and take initiative in problem-solving.Analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).0–2 years of experience in procurement or related roles.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with procurement software.Knowledge of UAE procurement regulations is a plus.Preferred SkillsBasic knowledge of supplier evaluation and cost optimization techniques.Ability to develop long-term supplier relationships.Understanding of inventory management processes.
