Job Description

About the role:An enterprise architect sets the direction and establishes the approach of an organizations operations, improves the IT infrastructure, and optimizes their business operations. The enterprise architect works to integrate the organizations information applications and programs.Responsibilities:

  • Meeting with different Stakeholders in order to understand the product/service
that the group is offering, gather process flow requirements anddocument/model the flow diagram, preferably in an EA tool.
  • Meeting with In House teams as well as vendors to gather information related to
the backend system processes and documents/model the flow diagram.
  • Document the entire Organizational Business capabilities and map them to
application portfolios.
  • Building a Governance process for a more effective and better approach when it
comes to requirement completeness and performance tracking
  • Document the Policies, Standards, Obligations, Regulations and Mandates in the
EA tool as well build the relationship between the artifacts
  • Maintaining the application repository up to date
  • Document the APIs and their payloads in the EA tool and link them to the
relevant workflow
  • Creating guideline documents for different sections of the EA tool and providing
training for different departments
  • Conduct Functional Decomposition exercise on all the Services & Products for
the organization
  • Gathering requirements for Application design and documenting/modeling all the
artifacts in the EA tool (Process flow diagram, Relationship diagram, DataBasetable and CDT)
  • Developing the application rationalization framework with focus on cost
optimization
  • Meeting with internal and external developers and explaining the application
design and development requirements
  • Model and maintain the Capital Global Application Map
  • Model IT Infrastructure diagrams (Outbound Connection, Inbound Connection,
  • Internal Service, Internal Client, External and Global DNS)
  • Being proactive in new Service design by helping the Stakeholders
  • Document and link the Risks and Controls artifacts in the EA tool
  • Analyze existing Services and identify automation and cost optimization
opportunities
