Key Responsibilities:Provide technical leadership in the development and optimization of the manufacturing processes for propellants, liners and thermal Insulation with advice from senior engineers and management.Design and develop formulations for rocket motors propellants, liner and thermal insulation to meet specific performance criteria.Lead the translation of laboratory findings into scalable and manufacturable processes under the advice of the chief engineer and management.Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.Conduct simulations and modelling to predict material behaviour in various operational conditions through thermochemical software.Coordinate, plan and schedule project activities to meet project goal within the budget and timelines.Conduct risk assessments and problem solving related to the projects.Evaluate equipment or processes to ensure compliance with governmental and international safety and environmental regulations.Work on quality control measures to ensure material consistency and performance.Investigate experiments/processes failures, analyse root causes and identify opportunities of process improvement, cost reduction and improvement in operational quality and efficiency.Use scientific, mathematical, and engineering principles to solve problems and enhance processes.Report on specific findings and conclusions and assist in the development of information briefs that convey content to internal and external stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.Consult with third parties like Chemical suppliers, Energetic materials manufacturing companies, etc. to leverage their specialized skills and partnerships wherever required.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including chemists, physicists, and safety officers, to take projects from conceptualization to completion.Contributes to the development of new projects and grants by conducting literature searches and experimental research.Compilation of project-related documents i.e., manufacturing documents, quality reports, and specifications.Requirements:Minimum Experience: 2 years of experience in the Lab Work Experiments (Mixing, Testing and Data Evaluation) environment.Preferred Experience: 3 years of experience in the Lab Work Experiments (Mixing, Testing and Data Evaluation) environmentIndustry Experience :-Defense, Aerospace, Research, Oil & Gas, Energy etcMinimum Education: Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering required.Preferred Education: Masters Degree in Chemistry required.You will be redirected to the company website to apply for this position.
