EMEA Emerging Markets Programme Manager VP

Job Purpose:The Programme Manager will be responsible for the governance and delivery of major business transformation, growth and regulatory change projects in EMEA Emerging Markets (EM).Job Background/context:The EMEA EM cluster spans across 29 presence countries (PCs) and 31 Hub Managed Countries (HMCs). The role will work in partnership with the MENA, SSA and TRUK cluster CAOs and business/product heads in Emerging Markets in order to coordinate the planning and execution of programmes and cross franchise regulatory change projects.The role requires an experienced change professional skilled at managing multiple streams of work, stakeholders, functions, dependencies, and risks.The EMEA Emerging Markets Programme Manager will report directly to the EMEA EM Head of Programmes and Regulatory Change.Key Responsibilities

• Track projects through the full lifecycle and ensure they are completed on time, to budget and adhere to the firm?s standards
• Work with senior managers to create and maintain the high-level roadmap.Work with team members on detailed project plans/ timelines and co-ordinate sign-off of deliverables
• Implement and run an effective programme management governance model in line with Citi project/PMO standards
• Maintenance of Programme Management artefacts e.g. plan, roadmap, milestones, RAID log, metrics, escalation points, dependencies
• Produce materials for working group and steering group meetings, as well as discussions with regulators. Provide regular updates to governance forums.
• Ensure Risks are mitigated/escalated in an appropriate and timely manner to ensure programme execution remains within risk appetite. Work with sponsors and respective project steering committees to remove project implementation impediments
• Work in partnership with ICRM for oversight of regulatory change identification and impact assessment processes and launch projects where required to implement changes
• Interface with 2nd/3rd Line-of-Defence teams to ensure programme execution/deliveries/evidence are aligned to 2nd/3rd LoD expectations and that ultimately regulatory compliance is achieved within the committed timeframe
• Accumulate lessons learnt and evolve project management and regulatory change management practices accordingly

Knowledge/Experience

• Experience in successfully leading programmes and regulatory change projects. Programme management/change delivery experience (10+ years)
• Experience with cross-functional / business delivery
• Banking or financial services experience (10+ years)
• Knowledge of Citi?s products and services in Emerging Markets is desirable
• Bachelor Degree (Master Degree desirable); Project Management qualifications desirable
