ELV Engineer

Job Description

ELV Engineer is responsible for implementing, maintaining, supporting, developing and, in some cases designing the ELV related infrastructure within Farah (CCTV, FLS, ACS, BMS, CAFM, CBS, etc and all underlying infrastructure to support that). And to ensure the integrity of high availability ELV infrastructure to ensure maximum performance and efficiency. Your job scope will also include:

• Establishing ELV environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation, defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
• Coordinate with different service provider the design, review, and implementation of all ELV function and discipline required for the projects.
• The implementation of new solutions and improving resilience of the current environment.
• Oversite projects and supervise service providers to carry out site works according to design intent and delivery timeline
• Involve in testing and commissioning of the installed systems and ensure compliance and handover.
• Maximizing performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with service providers on optimization.
• Securing ELV system by establishing and enforcing hardening and security policies and defining and monitoring access.
• Ensure ELV systems compliance with regulatory, standards and best practices
• Maintain ELV software and hardware asset list
• Report to the Senior Manager of site progress and problems being encountered for assistance and guidance.
• Manage Division P&L, periodically meeting with Finance and/or Director of General Services to discuss Expenditure vs. Budget
• Conducting performance reviews for direct reporting Colleagues and disciplinary actions within the team.
• Supervision of contractors / vendors working within the parks.
• Approving the 3rd Party Contractor of monthly manpower scheduling.
• Approval of Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) programs ready for implementation to Computer Managed Maintenance System (CMMS) tool.
• Ensures proper inventory levels for spare parts for all facilities equipment.
• Assisting other departments with facilities related tasks/issues.
• Creating Permits to Work (PTW) for vendors/sub-contractors and signing off work completion certificates.
• Ensuring training programs are delivered to all Colleagues in order to obtain annual and quarterly training hours.
• Liaising with park(s) operational departments to ensure their needs are met.
• Managing Service Requests (SR) and ensuring they are completed in a timely manner.
• Monitoring departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and strategic initiatives.
• Ensure that items in the Safety Log from HSE are attended to and rectified in timely manner.
• Ensure all Third-Party inspections are completed, working in conjunction with the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Department and providing acceptance of the facility / attraction.
• Supervision of the asset management and inventory.

• Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science, Mechatronics or electronic engineering
• 6+ years? experience of managing ELV Infrastructure and Operations
• 3+ years? experience on project management
• 3+ years implementing and managing CCTV and Access control technologies
• Solid understanding of ELV systems
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple reviews and deadlines
• Responsive to changing demands
• Ability to evaluate new approaches, systems, and design solutions
• Ability to perform design value engineering

• Cisco Certified Network Associate in voice, CCNA
• Project management certified
• Certification on ELV systems and applications
• Six Sigma Certification
• 1+ years? experience in Quality control QC and Quality Survey QS
• 1+ years? experience in ICS and OT security
• Advanced network design knowledge and experience with Monitoring tools
