The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical infrastructure in accordance with safety standards and regulations.Key Responsibilities:Install, connect, test, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.Diagnose electrical issues and perform repairs or replacements as needed.Ensure all electrical work complies with local electrical codes and safety standards.Perform routine inspections of electrical systems and equipment.Maintain records of maintenance and repairs performed.Collaborate with other maintenance staff and contractors.Ensure the safe use of electrical tools and equipment.Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and outages.Keep work area clean and organized.Qualifications:Diploma or ITI certification in Electrical or Electrical Engineering.Proven experience as an electrician or similar role.Knowledge of electrical safety protocols and regulations.Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics.Good problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces if required.
