Key job responsibilitiesThe Engineering Operations team are AWS’s front-line responders for hands-on troubleshooting and operations of critical infrastructure. As a Trainee, you will:- Assist in maintaining and operating mechanical and electrical equipment.- Support root cause analysis of equipment failures.- Help troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within internal SLAs.- Take daily operational readings of mechanical and electrical equipment.- Use our internal CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to manage workflows.- Work alongside third-party vendors and contractors onsite.- You will work with equipment that supports mission-critical servers, including but not limited to: diesel generators, switchgear, UPSs, PDUs, air handling units, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, motors, VFDs, and building automation systems.Physical Requirements:- Working at heights and from ladders.- Regularly lifting/moving up to 22kg (49lbs) unassisted, and participating in group lifts for heavier loads.- Using hands to handle and manipulate small tools, wires, and objects.You will be redirected to the company website to apply for this position
