ANT Engineering Consultants is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Electrical Inspector with a minimum of 5 years of experience in construction supervision and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring site electrical works, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and authority regulations, and reporting to the project engineer or resident engineer.Key Responsibilities:Inspect all electrical installations including power, lighting, fire alarm, ELV, and grounding systems on siteReview and verify material deliveries and ensure they comply with approved submittals and project specificationsEnsure all electrical work is carried out according to applicable codes (DEWA, DM, DCD, and other relevant UAE authority standards)Attend site inspections, testing, and commissioning, and prepare reports on findings and compliance statusMonitor contractor’s workmanship to ensure quality and adherence to safety standardsReview and comment on electrical shop drawings, method statements, and inspection requestsReport non-conformances and follow up on corrective actionsCoordinate with other discipline inspectors to ensure smooth project executionSupport authority inspections (e.g., DEWA, DCD) and assist in closing related commentsPrepare daily inspection reports and maintain proper documentation of all inspection activitiesRequirements:Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical EngineeringMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in UAE construction supervision/inspection rolesStrong knowledge of UAE regulations and authority submission procedures (DEWA, DCD, DM)Familiarity with electrical codes, standards, and best practicesProficient in reading electrical drawings and specificationsGood communication and report-writing skillsUAE Driving License is an advantage
