Responsibilities:Develop detailed electrical system designs including power distribution, lighting, ELV, earthing, and protection systemsPerform electrical load calculations, voltage drop calculations, and short-circuit analysisReview, prepare, and finalize technical documentation such as drawings, BOM, specifications, and design reportsEnsure compliance with Qatar construction standards and international electrical codes (IEC, NEC, NFPA, etc.)Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, mechanical teams, and project stakeholdersReview contractor submittals, shop drawings, and material approvalsConduct site inspections and provide technical solutions to design issuesSupport tendering activities, BOQs, cost estimation, and technical evaluationsParticipate in client meetings and provide expert technical guidanceRequirements:Grade A UPDA / MMUP Certification (mandatory)Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical design and consultancyBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s is a plus)Strong proficiency in electrical design software (ETAP, Dialux, AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)In-depth knowledge of international electrical codes and Qatar construction standardsExcellent technical documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and coordination abilities
